Do I have to be physically present at the appointment time?

Professional Organizing services are custom-designed to fit your lifestyle, so ideally, you will be physically present at the appointment to declutter and make sure that new systems suit your needs and vision, but with an in-depth conversation prior about your goals, services can also be provided independently.

How long will it take to organize my space?

This depends on a variety of factors:

• The size of the space

• The volume of contents within the space

• Your decision-making speed (I do not throw anything out without your permission)

• Who else lives in the space and has a say in the decision making

We will talk about time estimates during the site visit or video call after I am able to see the specific space.

Yes and yes

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, local checks, and credit cards (with additional processing fee).

I’m embarrassed that I am so disorganized. Will you think poorly of me if my place is a huge mess?

No--in fact, it's the opposite. I'm already proud of you for reaching out for help! As a Professional Organizer, I abide by a code of ethics, and I provide a non-judgmental, objective point-of-view---no need to feel embarrassed whatsoever.

Do I have to clean up before you arrive?

It is helpful to see the space as it usually is on a regular day, so you do not have to tidy up before my arrival. With that being said, if deep cleaning is necessary beyond what I provide as part of my services (dusting, wiping down of surfaces, sweeping), then please arrange for deep cleaning to be done prior to my arrival. If you need recommendations, please ask me!

Can I share your services with someone else in the form of a gift card?

Yes! I offer gift certificates suitable for a variety of occasions: bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, new home purchases, house warmings, promotions, retirements, etc. Before considering a gift of my services, please ensure the intended recipient would be receptive of organizing services.
